Who It's For
Thai Therapeutic Massage is for clients who have one recurring problem area and would rather spend the whole session there than on a full-body routine. A stiff lower back, a tight hip or one shoulder that always bothers you are common examples.
If you have a medical condition or injury, please mention it on your intake form and check with your doctor first if you are unsure whether massage is appropriate.
Benefits
- The full session focused on a specific area
- Thai pressing and stretching techniques applied where you need them
- Pressure you can adjust at any point
- A clear plan agreed before the session begins
What Happens During Your Session
- 1
When you arrive at the studio inside SCORE Clinic, you fill out a short intake form covering your preferred pressure, any areas of pain or tension, health conditions and changes since your last visit. Nancy reads it with you before you start.
- 2
When you book, tell us the area you want to focus on. Nancy talks through it with you before starting, then spends the session working into and around that area with Thai techniques.
- 3
Let her know what feels comfortable as she works so she can adjust the pressure.
