Oil is optional for Traditional Thai Massage. You choose whether it is used.

How firm is the pressure?

Pressure is adjusted to you. Nancy reviews your preferred pressure on the intake form, checks in during the session, and you can ask for lighter or firmer pressure at any time. She may use palms, thumbs, forearms, knees, or feet.

Is this massage done on a table, and are feet used?

Yes. It is performed on a padded premium Earthlite massage table, not a floor mat. Nancy may use her feet for broad pressure while holding two support bars above and parallel to the table to control exactly how much weight is applied. You can request hands-only at any time.

Who might prefer Traditional Thai over Deep Tissue?

If you feel stiff and want more stretching and movement, Traditional Thai may suit you. For slower, focused pressure on particular tight spots, consider Deep Tissue.

What Happens During Your Session

When you arrive at the studio inside SCORE Clinic, you fill out a short intake form covering your preferred pressure, any areas of pain or tension, health conditions and changes since your last visit. Nancy reads it with you before you start.

You undress to your underwear and are fully draped with a sheet, with only the area being worked on uncovered. Nancy then moves through pressing, acupressure and stretching, using her palms, thumbs, forearms, knees or feet.

She checks in on pressure as she goes, and you can ask for lighter or firmer work, or hands-only, at any point.

A Private Studio in Willow Glen

Siri Thai Massage Studio is a private, appointment-only massage studio located inside SCORE Clinic at 1609 Meridian Avenue in San Jose's Willow Glen neighborhood, near Meridian and Hamilton Avenues, with quick access from Highway 17 and I-280. Free on-site parking is available, and we're open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM by appointment.
